How soon before I can notice or feel results?
Results are dependent on many factors. If you wish to block or decrease pain, then a higher setting or more intensity will help block or decrease pain. If you want to treat pain at the source to improve circulation so that pain stays away, you can set the Micro-Z Mini™ at a lower, below sensory level. Most users will adjust the intensity to the point where they feel it (i.e. sensory level), then lower the intensity to just before you feel it. The Micro-Z Mini™ will not be noticeable but will provide a therapeutic healing benefit.

The more you use Micro-Z Mini™, the better effect it has on pain. Some people report a significant reduction or elimination of pain in just one session. Repeated use will provide the benefit of enhancing your body’s own healing powers.

Can I use the Micro-Z Mini™ to treat muscles weakened from lack of use or due to injury?
The Micro-Z Mini™ is not intended to rehabilitate or strengthen muscles, but rather designed to treat pains and strains. There are other devices with electronic frequencies, called electronic neuromuscular stimulators, which are specifically designed to rehabilitate and strengthen damaged muscles and increase strength or endurance. Micro-Z Mini™ is a high volt pulsed direct current (or micro-current) device that is great for post-injury or stimulating weak but painful muscles and joints by providing a therapeutic or healing benefit. It is more efficient to work post-injury muscles or pain in muscles with the Micro-Z Mini™ because the muscles can be targeted, which is difficult with most traditional forms of therapeutic treatment.

How does it work for pain management?
The Micro-Z Mini™ sends soothing electrical high volt pulsed direct current (DC) to the muscles via specially designed medical grade electrodes or conductive garments that are applied to the surface of the skin. These micro-current electronic impulses stimulate the nerves to either disrupt pain signals to the brain or push fluids through the tissue to enhance the body’s natural healing process. Micro-Z Mini™ reduces pain in the affected areas.

What does the Micro-Z Mini™ device do?
The Micro-Z Mini™ has two proprietary programs that can either (1) block or significantly reduce pain and (2) increase deep circulation to enhance the body’s ability to heal itself.

Can't you get these same benefits from taking drugs, medications or nutritional products?
With Micro-Z Mini™, you are exposing the body to the same micro-currents that are produced by the body. But, you're doing it more efficiently as you bypass the area that is injured and apply these healing micro-currents directly to the sight of the injury. Drugs, medications and nutritional products tend to mask the pain rather than treat pain. Drugs have side effects and Micro-Z Mini™ has none. Drugs can interfere with your mood and mental clarity and Micro-Z Mini™ does not.

What do you mean "in a more efficient way"?
Unlike when you are treating pain the traditional way with drugs or medications, the Micro-Z Mini™ is sending electrical signals to your muscles and nerves to increase circulation. In cases of pain blocking, the Micro-Z Mini™ disrupts pain signals to the brain. Those signals go through the spinal cord and are delivered to the nerves that attach to the muscles. The muscles respond to those impulses. All the Micro-Z Mini™ does is bypass the brain and spinal cord and apply an electrical signal directly to the nerves.

Who can use the Micro-Z Mini™?
The Micro-Z Mini™ can be used by teens and people in their retirement age—ages 18 to 80. Since the Micro-Z Mini™ uses an electronic signal that is the same as in the body, there is little risk when used as directed. Older adults that have very thin skin will want to remove the electrodes slowly and carefully in order to avoid tearing the skin. In some cases, Micro-Z Mini™ can offer a less sticky electrode that is removed more easily. Micro-Z Mini™ also has a product line of conductive dry garment electrodes that do not stick to the body so removal is very easy.

What do you mean by intensity?
The intensity (power) of the electro-current determines the amount of voltage that is sent to the site of damage or injury. With a low intensity setting you may not feel the electronic signals, but the Micro-Z Mini™ is working to enhance the body’s own healing process. In some cases, pain is being disrupted. As you increase the intensity the sensory level also increases. At high sensory or intensity levels, the Micro-Z Mini™ has been shown to block or significantly reduce pain by disrupting the pain-spasm signals from reaching the brain.

Can I injure myself using too high of an intensity level?
When used as directed it is extremely safe because the micro-current is regulated over the course of the stimulation cycle time to avoid any risk of muscle damage.

Will the product cause soreness?
Some users may have extremely sensitive or excitable muscles and nerves, and at high intensity levels, the user may experience muscle contractions. It is not uncommon to be a little sore in the beginning until the body gets accustomed to the intensity levels.

When would I use Garment Electrodes versus Standard Adhesive Gel Electrodes?

• Garments can cover a larger area of the body treating a larger surface area.
• Garments can treat pain extending through fingers and toes.
• Garments are beneficial for those individuals with fragile skin or for those skin conditions where use of standard adhesive electrodes could damage skin.
• Garments are much simpler to use and more comfortable to wear.
• Garments last for many months longer than standard adhesive electrodes.

How do I know when to replace the Electrodes (Gel Pads and/or Conductive Garments)?
If you notice that you can turn up the intensity higher before getting a good sensation or pain relief, this usually indicates that the electrodes are losing their conductivity or effectiveness.

The gel pad electrodes may also loses its ability to stick to the body. The user can apply a couple drops of water and apply evenly over the entire gel side of the electrode. This will re-hydrate the water based electrode gel. Typically, Gel Pads are changed every 20-30 uses, assuming the daily use of the product.

If the Conductive Garments Electrodes have visible wear & tear then this is also an indication that it may be time to replace them.

Are there any contraindications for use?
Please check with your doctor before using the Micro-Z Mini™ if you have an electronic implant, cardiac pacemaker, defibrillator, or suffer from any other heart problem. It is not advised to use the Micro-Z Mini™ if you are pregnant. Check with your doctor if you suffer from cancer, epilepsy or are under medical supervision for cognitive dysfunction. Check with your doctor if you plan to use the Micro-Z Mini™ on any areas in which drugs or medicines are administered by injection (short term or long term). Check with your doctor if you have a hernia (abdominal or inguinal).

What are general warnings I should be aware of?
The Micro-Z Mini™ is intended for use on otherwise healthy muscles or joints that are sore and aching. It is to be used by adults only. Keep out of reach of children. Do not apply the Micro-Z Mini™ to the head, neck, mouth, or chest; do not apply to swollen, infected or inflamed areas of skin eruptions. Please see your doctor about using the Micro-Z Mini™ if you've recently suffered from an acute trauma or fracture or following recent surgery.

How often should I use the Micro-Z Mini™?
It is recommended that you can use the Micro-Z Mini™ at least once a day or at night for 8 hours. You may do so more frequently if you are not using for the full 8 hours (i.e. 30-60 minutes 2-3 times a day). However, it is not recommended for use more than 8 hours within a 24 hour period because this can cause the body to acclimate to the signal and you will feel it less and less.
